Sue’s Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation – Modern Country

Sue was introduced to us by her Real Estate Agent after their successful purchase of her dream property. This home needed a freshen up and Sue invited us into her kitchen and bathroom to upgrade & re-design. The kitchen’s footprint was tiny, given the general age of her home, this size kitchen was considered quite normal in its day, however, it did not service Sue’s needs very well.

To help re-create a new kitchen, we removed an internal wall to help widen and stretch the kitchen out longer, this allowed us to introduce a sweet new pantry and coffee nook area. New white and grey shaker cabinetry with stone tops was installed. Now that the kitchen had some width, we introduced a long island bench to help with preparation and serving. Being in the Catering field a large free-standing oven was included and loads of storage to service Sue and her family for years to come.

The Ensuite Bathroom was demolished, and we re-designed the space to allow for a long 1.5m shower on the back wall. We tiled the Ensuite floor to ceiling and tiled a feature tile to surround of her window. A floating wooden vanity anchors to the white matt subway tiles that show slight movement with their design, this brings a light and bright dimensional change to the wall.

Round back lit mirror compliments the white stone top and white matt round basin which completed this area. To help keep the smaller room feeling larger we introduced a back to wall toilet which also is a dream with cleaning and not having to fiddle behind the suite to take care of those hard-to-reach areas. A minimalist and monochrome palette was chosen in grey and white, with wooden vanity to warm up and bring inviting feeling to the servable space.

Client Testimonial

Tracy from Winning Interiors was recommended to me by a friend.  I had some idea of what I wanted for my new kitchen, but the input and ideas made it exceptional.   I found Tracy very easy to get along with and she definitely knows her business.  The kitchen is to die for, we then moved onto the Bathroom with which I found myself a little lost.  Tracy saved the day with an awesome design and even found and ordered the PC items to go with it.  I would have never thought of running the floor tiles up the wall and the finish is amazing.  It feels like I am in a fancy hotel when I step into my bathroom.  I highly recommend Tracy to anyone doing renovations.  Thank you again Tracy, love your work.
